Walking Foot quilting class

Yesterday I taught a lovely Walking Foot quilting class to 5 quilters. Usually, this class sells out. New Pieces Quilt Shop’s classroom can hold 10 students, but it’s the middle of July and people are on vacation. The next class I’ll be teaching at New Pieces is Circular Rectangles and Squares, on September 16 from 10:30 – 1:30. Here’s the class description:

Circular Rectangles and Squares

This class explores curved piecing in a rectangular or square block. Learn how to boldly cut curves with a rotary cutter, but without a ruler or a cutting line! Stack four rectangles of different colored fabrics, cut through all of them, shuffle the layers, and sew together four different blocks from each stack. This is a process class. Once you learn the process, the world of curved, pieced quilts is yours to explore. Three-hour class. Intermediate
